2013-02-21 A “team” day ! Grange door.

 

Dave bought a pair of very heavy pair of cave doors, complete with the vineyards stamp on them, they were so heavy,  it was impossible to lift them with one person, but just about possible with 2, or 3 people.

So about 6 months or so after buying them, Dave had put up all the uprights, they finally got fitted.

I was a bit late with my camera, by the time I got outside….they were already up.

 

2013-10-02 Hawfinch and Misty Vista

 

We had another visit from the Hawfinch…….

He soon took over the sunflower feeder, and kept all the other birds off !

 

 

By the beautiful plumage………it must be a HE…….perhaps a Norwegian Blue ?
