Well incredibly we have lived in Cailho for a year now.........so time for a party, how many people will come, will we have enough chairs, food and DRINK !!!!
Altogether 36 people attend including Mum and Jen from UK and Tom, Karine and Jonathan from the Ardeche, but amazingly nearly all people from the village and surrounding Hamlet/single dwelling come as well, we are so pleased, the drink does last with plenty over, and the food (mainly Veggie) goes down a treat, and recipes are asked for!!!
lastly we had not realised how generous people were going to be with presents (which we had not expected) ranging from a chestnut wood platter(just under the meat in the picture) to a paperweight, a large quantity of bottles of wine including Champagne, and bunches of flowers, to the wonderful black cherry Clafoutis presented still hot from the oven!!
