A wolf spider
Another misty morning !
It never fails to amaze me, how many flowers grow here, which also grow in the UK, I thought it would be completely different……but we have wild daffodils and snowdrops in the spring, and beautiful foxgloves in the summer.
Is this called Catchfly?
A couleuvre snake, not a montpellier, but another one ! this one was about 1m long.
Woolly monster……….
After 3 years I have finally got flowers on my sisyrinchium.
Along with the Lychnis , its starting to look quite nice :O)
This is our Fennel bed, its purely for the Swallowtail butterflies to lay their eggs on, and their caterpillars to feed on. Well we are still hoping !
And finally the ‘top bed’ where we put more shrubs last year, and it is also starting to ‘blossom’.
The little dianthus at the front of the bed is a wild flower.
This is an amusing picture, sadly a little out of focus…..its two dung beetles , moving a dung ball, around and around the top of a water tank……..how they got it up there is a mystery !
La lune.
Encore la lune !
After a very windy night, one of the cherry trees has shed a branch. (its in the field next to us, not ours) Dave went and chopped it up so it was out of the way.
We decided to prune the small cherry trees back a bit.
Bonus ……..easy to pick cherries !
another snake at a neighbours house.
A noise in a watering can, when investigated , became this beautiful lizard.
Its an eyed lizard, still has his tail, so he has not me our cat….YET !
