This is idea we had 2 years ago when we had no floor and were replacing the beams.......
The amount of light coming in through the UPSTAIRS french window gave us the idea of making the floor just inside the bedroom in glass.
We have had the glass made and the frame, and it has now been installed (by Dave of course!)
