Clematius amandii (i think) flowers early is an evergreen, smells of apple blossom.

Yet another attempt to graft the wonderful cherry tree on to some of the wild cherries we have, this is a method favoured by peach growers.....

Well after 3 years we now know that the drain under the cave works..............we had 24 hours of torrential rain .............and a dry cave !
Dave made a small dam to direct the water across the road.
The river that we usually can only hear............can now be seen from our garden !
