2014-11-27 Mushrooms, mushrooms and MORE mushrooms !!!

Because the weather is still warm, and wet…….we have every sort of mushroom at the moment some we have never seen before, some growing right out of the track which appears to be rock !

This was not superimposed …it just looks like that..

I  thought I’d found the worlds largest chantrelle..

but on closer inspection (

 

THEN we found pied de mouton (sheeps  feet) or in the UK Hedgehog mushroom…

just under 2kgs

Not gills or sponge….but “spines” very distinctive and very solid mushroom….oh and TASTY !

The Kaki tree

Full of Kaki…..unfortunately I am allergic to them !!

2014-11-20 A few alterations in the south wing !

Unfortunately the terrace leaked……all the fibre board got soaked and turned to “weetabix” ! So this has now been removed and some metal placed over the new flooring, cross fingers this works !

Secondly there was not quite enough adjustment on the sliding doors as they were, so they had to be taken out and Dave cut a bit more into the supporting pillar to allow the frame to be square…..this took a lots of huffing and puffing from Dave and karl as the doors weigh a ton !

 

So now its all square the under side of the door has been filled in and its all rock solid !
