We arranged to go to Montpellier, to pick up my grandson for a visit. We went the night before and stayed in a lovely hotel, which happened to be beside the tram lines , which have now replaced 90% of the traffic in central Montpellier. so after finding the hotel and having a little rest, we got on a tram and were taken into the centre, where we found a VEGETARIAN restaurant, which was a great surprise in this meat eating nation !

On to the trams….clean, air-conditioned, colourful, quick, cheap and USED !!!
There are two more colour schemes, one all blue with white swallows, and the other (which we were on and i didn’t get to take the photo) was “under sea fantasy” very whacky.

Vegetarians exist, and “Monters” rocks !
This was a nice cool spot, just before the hustle and bustle of the street market…..
I can’t imagine this was the REAL stones, (but they had a picture of Mick on the side of the stage !)
This “rock” was in a small park we walked through, it has misters on the top to keep all the moss growing……..imagine !
