Wisteria is a favourite of the carpenter bees, unfortunately they are too big to get inside the flowers so they bite them at the back, nick the nectar and leave the flowers to fall, under the wisteria this year was like confetti each morning !

Another mystery…..we think this is a Robinia tree, but the “normal ones” have white flowers, will this be a graft or do you think if I collect the seed these might grow up to be pink ……..I dont want to wait years and get white flowers!
