Irises i thought would never flower, OK this is not really WILD life !

A small present from Kiwi...for those unfamiliar with this beauty, its an Eyed lizard usually around 45cm long (18")but can get bigger !!
And they BITE.......well wouldn't you ??
another beauty we have seen before, it's a Giant Peacock Moth, this one was flying around our outside light, so we went out and it landed on Dave's shorts....
then the day......and we had a job to persuade it to leave.
OK, this is a different sort of wildlife......curry night with the friends from St Pons !

My new shade area, under the wild cherry trees, now the hydrangea, and hebe can grow in peaceful shade from the searing sun.......OK it was raining when i took this !
